SMG - Albany County Sales Coordinator in Albany, New York

Summary: This position is accountable for booking events, office management, and providing sales and marketing support as assigned by the Senior Sales Manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Handle events and inquiries up to and including quoting rates, confirming space and drawing up License Agreements to be signed by the customer, and obtaining the General Manager’s signature to close the transaction.Coordinate with other departments to ensure that contractual obligations to clients and ASM service standards are met.Answer telephones for Senior Sales Manager and provide information as needed. Assist Sr. Sales Manager in returning phone calls, faxing clients, Federal Express, site inspections, filing, and tours (i.e. Business After Hours)Represent the Centers to relevant local organizations in Albany.Processing of Contracts, Event Close Outs, and Event Bookings for Sales Team.Generate weekly and monthly reporting for Sales and Events.Develop mailing lists for newsletters and customer surveys.Assisting event’s team with taking photos of events in-house during normal business hours.Planning client meetings and working with catering services ensuring set up is accurate.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
