Description:

As a Cybersecurity Technical Writer, you are responsible for technical documentation for critical Global Information Security (GIS) projects. You will work with security engineering team, security architecture team, product management team, and project management team to produce the required project artifacts, including solution design document, service specification, security control specification, user guides, support scripts, documentation for audit and governance, and presentation materials for various internal and external audience. You must be results-oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units at various levels. Knowledge of various cybersecurity concepts and protocols, such as digital identity, authentication, data encryption, API protocols, cloud security, and security risk management, is essential. Small pilot already completed. Going to start to roll out to smaller groups as early as next week for additional feedback. Help buildout process and make it better. FIDO based process for desktop authentication. Several pieces of the rollout through the year.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Communications, or relevant fields -Proven experience working in a technical writing position -Understanding of highly technical concepts/environments and the ability to translate to non-technical audience using text and diagrams -Familiarity with cybersecurity concerts and best practices -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Strong attention to detail -Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences -Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under minimum supervision -Team first approach with ability to partner with teams for corporate communications
