The World Largest Search Engine is seeking an "Automotive Supply ChainAnalyst"

Duration: 6 months

Work Location: Novi, MI

Work Schedule: (Normal business hours, Monday - Friday)-(Hybrid)

Project Overview:

Support vehicle component sourcing in support of client 2024-2204 vehicle build.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Work with Material Program Managers to review supply risks and escalate shortages to suppliers including monitoring capacity and production plans.

  • Perform tactical commercial activities including POs, invoice reconciliation, monitoring costs.

  • Track progress of commercial agreements

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Perform tactical commercial activities including POs, invoice reconciliation, monitoring costs.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: (All skills, both technical and soft, required to be successful in the role)

  • Manage supplier production plans

  • Manage CTB (Clear to build) status

  • Review and audit supplier capacity

  • PO creation

  • Invoice reconciliation

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • ROI (return on investment) analysis for process improvements and capacity expansion Commercial contract management and negotiation

  • Track progress of commercial agreements with strategic suppliers:

  • Work with GSMs and Legal team to prioritize supplier agreements and document key blockers to close agreements.

Mandatory: Analytical capability

Ability to identify the areas of knowledge required to understand the challenges facing a product, absorb the relevant information, and develop an opinionated perspective. This includes understanding the product?s market/industry, competitive analysis, and the product space?s underlying functionalities and capabilities. Ability to articulate the solutions across a range of detail depending on audience, and via appropriate media (i.e., presentation vs. doc).

Ability to take into account how different strategies and decisions impact financial and operational results of a given product. This could include defining short- and long-term monetization or cost savings opportunities, customer choices/options, and pricing strategies.

Ability to articulate a clearly defined product vision in a way that captures attention and creates a credible plan that compels others to action.

Product lifecycle

Knowledge of the overall process for developing, maintaining, and evolving products. Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of engineering and other functions, major phases, checkpoints, and deliverables. Ability to identify common issues and considerations for delivering, updating, or sunsetting a product.

Strategic insight & development

Ability to establish or adapt strategies by integrating and applying one's understanding of the customer, competitive intelligence, external trends, and data from lagging/leading metrics.

User understanding and empathy

Ability to use tools and the expertise of others to gather user insights in order to understand and empathize with user needs, including incorporating users with varied life experiences.

Pay Details: $78.00 to $84.00 per hour
