Your Role:

In this position, you will be accountable for order entry, inventory control, and supervising the Storeroom Attendant. This role will require a high level of customer contact and organization; must maintain a professional telephone demeanor in all circumstances.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inventory control, tracking orders, and corresponding with vendors regarding orders and possible issues.

  • Ensures inventory accuracy: ordering and consumption accuracy.

  • Assists with purchasing functions. Manages 2,000 plus inventory items.

  • Ensure implementation of storeroom cycle count and 100% eyeball count.

  • Responsible for corrugate planning, counts all corrugate, job off count, schedules corrugate, enters corrugate requisitions, physical count of materials within a 24 hour period.

  • Supervises Storeroom Attendant and assigns daily tasks.

  • Assist in the preparation of Materials and Financial team audits.

  • Responsible for ordering office inventory and maintaining inventory count.

Reporting Relationships:

In this role, you will report to the Plant Materials Manager.

Position Requirements:

About You:

  • Associates degree in a business related field preferred, or equivalent knowledge from work experience.

  • Two years of experience in logistics and/or customer service working in a fast paced and stressful environment.

  • SAP experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly.

  • Strong/proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel.

Travel Requirements:

There may be some travel associated with this position for training.
