Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in and around Greensboro, NC. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $26/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:

• Select type, size of pipe & related materials & equipment such as supports, hangers, & hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications

• Cut pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutter, hammer, chisel, cutting torch, & pipe cutting machine

• Thread pipe using threading machine

• Bend pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools & machine

• Mount pipe hangers & brackets on walls and ceiling to hold pipe

• Assemble & install a variety of metal or non metal pipes & pipe fitting

• Use threaded, caulked, soldering, brazen, fused, or cemented joints, & hand tools

• Secure pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, & hangers using hand & power tools

• Install & maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems including compressors, pumps, meter, pneumatic, & hydraulic controls, & piping

• Weld pipe supports to structural steel members

• Observe production machines in assigned area of manufacturing facility to detect machinery malfunctions

• Other tasks as assigned
