Description

Robert Half is seeking a Food Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the visual appeal of food products in retail settings. You will work closely with store management to ensure that products are displayed attractively and in accordance with company standards. Your goal will be to maximize sales and customer satisfaction by creating enticing displays and effectively communicating product information.

Responsibilities:

• Merchandising: Arrange and display food products in a visually appealing manner, following established guidelines and layouts.

• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels of food items.

• Product Promotion: Implement promotional activities such as discounts, special offers, and product demonstrations to drive sales.

• Quality Control: Ensure that all food products meet quality and safety standards, including checking expiration dates and handling perishable items appropriately.

• Customer Service: Assist customers with inquiries, provide product recommendations, and address any concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

  Requirements

• 4+ years previous experience in food merchandising, and food companies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
