We are currently looking for an On-Site Workforce Operations Manager to join our Operations team at our client site located in Muncie, IN. Position Overview
Reporting to the Director, the IWO Operations Manager will manage the vendor relationships with various staffing partners in an enhanced MSP platform. He/she will maintain the responsibility of managing order distribution and onboarding functions and serve as a liaison with Impact’s network of Strategic Partners and their employees. In this role, the IWO Ops Manager will manage the overall operation at client site(s) and be responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, engagement, quality control, and overall client and vendor relationships. The IWO Ops Manager’s duties and responsibilities may include interviewing, selection, and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work in conjunction with client management; authoring and discussing with employee's performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; and employee motivation and reward initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Management and support of requisitions, order distribution, employees, and invoice adjustments flowing through the VMS software
Qualification and placement of candidates to open requisitions
Coordination of orientation for new hires
Management of Active Headcount and Identification of Core2 Graduates
Perform new hire backgrounds, drug screens, onboarding timely and effectively
Responsible for payroll hours submission to Payroll & Billing Specialist
Perform/Assist in employee terminations while helping to mitigate risk
Serve as the main contact for hiring managers, client HR, and employees
Work closely with client managers to find solutions for recruiting/retention issues
Evaluate staffing strategy and plans
Coaching/Counseling and Mentoring
Performance Reviews
Attendance Tracking
Manage client employee relations investigations, providing support, documentation, and guidance
Other duties as needed or assigned
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
1-3 years’ experience to include Staffing, Recruiting, and/or Client Relationship role
Experience in, or working knowledge of, vendor management software (VMS) preferred
Working knowledge of HRIS/ATS systems
Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution center environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work on operation floor
