Project Manager New Bern, NC / Full-time

Your responsibilities: The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of the project(s) by meeting agreed upon project deliverables and objectives. The Project Manager will serve the entire duration of the project, ensuring that all objectives are clearly defined prior to the project application, as well as implemented and tracked through the project completion including lifecycle management.He/She is responsible for controlling all aspect of the project(s), including organizing the project teams, communication of all relevant information to stakeholders, managing risks and expectations, and ensuring proper project documentation.

  • Lead partner sourced projects (OEM) within the Partner Management team for BSH North America.Products may be targeted for local or global markets and include both regional and global coordination.
  • Overall planning and management of new product projects with alignment of BSH product development process (PDP), with special focus of project milestones (M0-M8), project/ product costs, and product quality
  • Conducting of risk management in projects
  • Controlling and reporting the project status to relevant stakeholders and management (including Project Review Meetings (PRM), Project Jour Fixe, Strategy Workshops, and other Project Meetings)
  • Creation of project application requests (PARs) and management through approval process
  • Selection, organization, and management of project teams and administration of project core team meetings
  • Manages overall information flow among internal and external stakeholders (including Development, Category Management, Technical Product Management, Industrial Design, Purchasing, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Project Controlling)
  • Maintenance of project information and reporting templates, workflows, tools and methods in accordance with BSH guidelines
  • Overall responsible for project related decisions, instructions, supervision and escalations.
  • Responsible for balancing project budget and executing work packages.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Business Administration)
  • Required Certification (Project Management Certification)
  • Preferred 1-3 Years of Project Management Experience
  • Required 3-5 Years of other experience (Technical Product Management, Product Development or other departments in a manufacturing environment)
  • Preferred Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Must have good communication and negotiation skills
  • Travel Percentage - 10-20%
