Your Role:

The Associate Tax Analyst is a key member of the tax team. The Associate Tax Analyst will support the tax department in tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax planning.

The position encompasses all aspects of domestic tax, as well as exposure to foreign taxation and reporting.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Tax accounting including review of international operation provisions, and global cash taxes

  • Forecasting and budgeting for effective tax rate and cash taxes

  • Prepare US Book to Tax adjustments

  • North America compliance (US Consolidated, US International, US States, Property Tax, and Canada) preparation and support

  • Tax technical research; monitor, interpret, and communicate legislative and regulatory changes

  • Prepare various technical calculations (Fixed Assets, 987 G/L, R&D, UNICAP, Mgmt Fee)

  • Provide support for tax audits

  • Provide support for tax planning projects (E&P studies, valuation data, dividend planning, tax modeling, tax research, etc.)

  • Assist in the management of interns

  • Manage multiple assignments and independently communicate with corporate functions, regions and operations to resolve questions or secure necessary information

Reporting Relationships:

You will report to the North America Tax Manager.

Position Requirements:

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Some exposure to public accounting tax experience or similar industry experience preferred

  • Preference for a CPA or advanced degree (MST/JD/MBA)

  • Ability to work well and communicate effectively within diverse teams

  • Experience using Corptax; HFM; SAP a plus, but not required

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Minimal travel required.
