Wage: Starting at \$21.50 per hour, increasing to \$22.00 per hour after 90 days Schedule: Full time with the ability to choose between shift options. Some weekends required. What You Get To Do: Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance. Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and more. Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation. Build relationships with persons served and teammates. Attend special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events. Transport clients to appointments or other activities outside the home. Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest. Document progress, milestones, and action steps. Qualifications What Makes You A Great Fit: Previous caregiving experience. Must possess a valid Driver\'s License, reliable transportation and proof of insurance Ability to travel to three different homes within Portland metro community. 18 years of age or older. Ability to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training Ability to learn different supports from medical to behavioral. Person-centered, patient, and kind. Flexible, dependable, adaptable. Excellent communication, active listening, and decision-making skills Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Successful candidates will be required to meet all Oregon State Department of Human Services requirements.
