Headquartered in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Navarro has active programs in place across the nation for DOE/NNSA, NASA, and the Department of Defense. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team on a Department of Energy technical services support contract in Piketon, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and directing larger and more complex engineering, environmental, or construction projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant projects that have a lasting impact on energy sustainability and environmental management. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a secondary interface, supporting the Program Director, DOE Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Alternate COR (ACOR), and Technical Monitors (TM's). Manage and direct large-scale engineering, environmental, or construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Employ an innovative and proactive approach to project management, identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions. Oversee all aspects of project planning and scheduling, cost estimating, and monitoring, as well as quality review. Utilize extensive experience and judgment to achieve programmatic goals and objectives. Direct and coordinate the efforts of a variety of professional disciplines to ensure the successful completion of project goals. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university. A minimum of ten years of relevant project management experience or fifteen years of related experience, demonstrating the ability to manage projects of significant size, scope, and complexity. Proven experience as a secondary interface, supporting key DOE contract management roles. Demonstrated ability to manage and direct larger and more complex projects effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey project goals and objectives. Extensive experience in project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring, and quality review. Demonstrated ability to use related knowledge and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and objectives. Ability to direct and coordinate a variety of professional disciplines to achieve project goals. Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Experience working with the Department of Energy (DOE). Experience with Decommissioning and Decontamination (D&D), Decommissioning and Removal (D&R), or Surveillance and Maintenance (S&M) projects. Experience in managing projects within nuclear facilities. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
