Job Purpose Summary

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate - Receiving to support the Warehouse Operations functions related to Receiving, Material Handling and Storage.

What you will do

• Load and unload freight.

• Handle material in the warehouse. This includes receiving, inspection, movement, organizing, counting, replenishment, etc.

• Organize work and storage areas for efficient workflow.

• Acquire and maintain electronic data files related to the above mentioned processes.

• Maintain inventory controls.

• Maintain accurate and complete records.

• Preparation of well-structured written reports, procedures, etc.

• Work under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.

• Follow all safety requirements.

• Maintain company quality standards.

• Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:

• 95% or better on-time delivery.

• Year over year improvement in scrap and vendor performance.

• Year over year improvement in complaints and non-conformances.

• Year over year improvement in audit results.

What you will need

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• ERP or SAP experience.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Highly organized.

• High attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively and with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong emphasis in working as part of a team.

• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

• High School Diploma/GED required; some college preferred.

• 2+ years of warehouse experience, specifically in material handling and inventory control.
