Hyatt Assistant Operations Manager in SAN FRANCISCO, California

The Assistant Operation Manager is an entry level role that will assist oversight of multiple departments in the hotel including but not limited to: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Banquets.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of staff, staffing needs, and scheduling

  • Cash control for front desk agents

  • Responding to guest and colleagues needs

  • Training and staff development

  • Forecasting business

  • Knowledge of banquet planning

  • Understanding proper steps of inspecting guest rooms

  • Ordering and monitoring inventory

  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws as all operating procedures

  • Promote an atmosphere that insures customer and associate satisfaction

The Salary Range for this position is $66,560 - $78,000.

Qualifications:

  • Ability and desire to learn all areas of the operation

  • Refined verbal and written communications skills

  • Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to have a flexible work schedule, to be a team player and dynamic leader

  • Proficient with Microsoft word and Excel

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to motivate team and come up with new ideas

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances

  • Ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds

  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

  • Hotel management experience preferred

  • Preferred prior experience in Front Desk, Housekeeping and F&B
