Are you an experienced professional seeking a dynamic role in acquisition support? Join The Red Gate Group in Springfield, VA, as a Senior Acquisition Support Specialist supporting the Exploitation Services Division at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

Responsibilities:

• Develop acquisition documentation including Acquisition Strategies, Statements of Work, Requests for Proposal, and acquisition and source selection plans, and present them for Government approval.

• Serve in an advisory role on source selection panels, document source selection findings, and support the Government in the defense of protests.

• Provide analysis based on independent reviews of deliverables and offer project management support throughout the program/acquisition life cycle.

• Prepare, edit, review, and submit financial documentation and artifacts as requested by the Government.

• Support oversight, test monitoring, verification, and agile backlog management of programs within the division.

• Participate in various program test activities and events, technical exchange meetings, program reviews, acquisition panels, and configuration boards.

• Assist in the identification and mitigation of risks according to the NGA Risk Management process.

• Support the formulation, analysis, and impact assessment of new requirements and Request for Change (RFC) activities.

• Provide analysis, recommendations, and demonstrate expertise in exploitation systems domain knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience

• Active TS/SCI 

• Minimum twelve (12) years of experience and eight (8) years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated experience in acquisition, acquisition planning, and the development of acquisition  

• B.A. or B.S. degree in an associated area such as, but not limited to, program management, business, computer science, management, geography, geospatial information systems (GIS), or cartography or equivalent work experience 

• Experience with agile software development, or the possession of agile certifications such as, but not limited to, Scaled Agile Framework ( SAFe ) certification.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with and knowledge of cloud computing technologies.

• Experience with Military, Department of Defense, or NGA acquisition.
