Veralto Global Indirect Sourcing Manager (m/(w/d) in Sterling, Virginia

We are seeking a Global Indirect Sourcing Manager who is passionate about Global Strategic Sourcing and wants to build a world-class global sourcing strategy.

About the role:

You will be part of the Global Procurement Team and can be located in Fellbach/Stuttgart, Delft (Netherlands) or Berlin. This role will be able to work hybrid (2 days home office and 3 days in one of our offices). Up to 30% Travelling to be expected.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive cost management strategies globally (CAPEX, Travel, Fleet, MRO, Business Service, IT, Marketing, Freight) with direct impact on increasing operating profit including implementing and developing innovative solutions resulting in cost reduction and cost avoidance.

  • Monitor and analyze trends and market conditions for the present and future pricing, availability and capacity of indirect goods and services.

  • Monitor and analyze trends in company spending and make recommendations for future investments while identifying possible savings opportunities.

  • Measure and manage vendor performance including preferred suppliers and establish supplier performance data requirements to drive value and innovation while also developing proactive risk management strategies and improvement in vendor service and/or quality in indirect goods and services.

  • Negotiate and/or oversee negotiations with prospective vendors on matters of price, scope and performance, to secure the best overall value for Hach.

  • Lead and oversee the use of Veralto Enterprise System (VES) tools to drive continuous process improvements in QDCI.

  • Monitor compliance to OTT procurement policies through ERP and indirect spend reporting and ensure contracts. Lead through monthly tracking and enforce countermeasures if not on track.

  • Create Standard Work (SW) documentation globally and facilitate onboarding/ training sessions on Indirect Procurement processes and tools

To be successful you will have:

  • University Degree or commercial education degree and 3 or more years of experience in Indirect Procurement

  • Excellent skills in Excel, Analysis for Office, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Very good verbal and written English and German communication skills, dutch is a plus
